Resolute Marine Energy partners with Green Cross France

Resolute Marine Energy is proud to announce the establishment of a strategic partnership with Green Cross France and Territories (GCFT) which is based in Paris, France. GCFT is a key member of the Green Cross International network and it focuses primarily on issues related to responsible stewardship of the world’s ocean and water resources. In a statement to the French press, RME COO Olivier Ceberio said, “We’re very pleased to partner with Green Cross France & Territories.” “The missions of our two organizations are well aligned and we look forward to working with GCFT President Jean-Michel Cousteau and his staff to build awareness of how the world’s oceans can be used to solve a major problem, water scarcity, that negatively impacts the health and welfare of millions of people around the world today.” Green Cross International (GCI) is a Non-Governmental Organization(NGO) based in Geneva, Switzerland which was founded in 1983 by Mikhail Gorbachev. Its mission is to respond to the combined challenges of security, poverty and environmental degradation to ensure a sustainable and secure future. GCI enjoys consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. GCI is an admitted observer organization with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification. It also cooperates directly with the UNEP/OCHA Environmental Emergencies Section, UN-HABITAT and other international organizations
